Research Topics

My research concerns the following topics:
PhD/Master students

Granted Projects

Collaborations
  • ECoMAS (Emergent Computing  with Multi-Agents Systems)  project which aims to develop computing systems as artificial eco-systems inspired by natural living systems. In this project we propose nature-inspired paradigms  for programming applications network  and WWW  oriented . We are mainly interested in developing self-organizing  and self-adaptive computing complex systems using the multi-agents paradigm.

  • I2MAS (Interactions, Interoperability  in Multi-Agents Systems) concerned by the study of interactions and the interoperability  issue in multi-agents sytems. We are developing a systemic, components based  approach for managing conversations in Multi-Agents Systems.

  • Embodied Cognition : studied in the context of CESaR project (Collective Experience  Sharing and Re-use) which is concerned by the study, from  a cognitive perspective,  of the way how individual experience is shared and exchanged  during a collective achievement of a task, and the way how a collective experience emerges from this activity. We use the multiagent paradigm to develop a system allowing the capitalization of experience in the context of a collective task achievement. Another problematic concerns, the study of emergence of representations.
